Western Power Installation (WPI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Front Range Wireless (FRW). WPI provides a wide range of services for switching centers in the Telecommunications and Cable industries, Our DNA is comprised of quality and safety; characteristics that are fundamental throughout FRW and WPI.

FRW is a Colorado corporation established in 2001. Aaron Kingstrom, a licensed master electrician, has served as president of both FRW and WPI. Aaron has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Both Front Range Wireless and Western Power Installation thrive to employ highly qualified technicians to make sure that our clients are serviced by knowledgeable staff members.

We install all products based on the manufacturer’s specifications, industry standards and our customer’s requirements. WPI specializes in the following installation services:

Fiber Optic raceway designs and installation in any new or existing room settings

Fiber End-Face Certification testing including LC, SC, MPO/MTP

Fiber Loss testing for Multimode and Singlemode LC, SC and MPO/MTP fibers

Installating pre-made/custom simplex, duplex, MPO/MTP and trunk fibers

Ethernet installation, testing and termination

DC Power equipment and cabling installation, modification, maintenance, and design

Grounding and protection of network equipment, iron work, and other switch room infrastructure

Installation of all types of equipment in such diverse settings as Central Offices, Mobile Switching Centers, Data Center and Cell Sites

Decommission of equipment and supporting cables, fibers, and power

in all Telecommunications settings

Ladder rack and auxiliary iron design, relay rack/cabinet installation and modifications
